JC Auditors (JCA) proudly announces the successful ISO 9001 recertification of Serco Industries, highlighting their unwavering commitment to quality workmanship and continuous improvement. This milestone, achieved through a rigorous certification audit conducted by JCA, reinforces Serco's position as a leader in the trailer manufacturing sector in South Africa.
Started in 1981 from humble beginnings as a family business, Serco has grown exponentially into one of South Africa's leading insulated and dry freight truck body and trailer building companies. Serco is based on the cornerstone philosophy that as, we strive to help clients grow and prosper, so we too will grow and prosper. The company name was derived from "Service Company" to reflect their committed focus on service to the transport industry.
Serco's vision has been to manufacture great products boasting low life-cycle costs for the transport industry with the priority being to give their customers the edge, by continually raising the standard of their vehicle bodies and benchmarking against international standards.
The company's vehicles are relied on by many of Southern Africa’s transport and long-distance hauliers to carry everything from ice-cream to day-old chicks, from beef to bread - safely and hygienically.
The ISO 9001 certification was formally presented to Marlen Booysen (Senior Quality Engineer) and Trevor Govender (Production Manager), symbolising Serco’s continued dedication to quality and innovation in a highly competitive industry.
JC Auditors is honoured to support organisations like Serco, that are committed to driving excellence and fostering trust through adherence to international standards. This achievement underscores Serco’s enduring contribution to South Africa's transport sector and its dedication to pushing the boundaries of quality and safety in trailer manufacturing.
