The Southern Africa Eco-Infrastructure Summit (SAEIS) 2026, an investment-driven platform for action and impact dedicated to advancing sustainable real estate and eco- infrastructure development across Southern Africa.

Taking place from 9-11 March 2026 in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, SAEIS 2026 will convene ministers, senior policymakers, development finance institutions (DFIs), private investors, infrastructure and real estate developers, EPC contractors, technology providers, and NPOs to move beyond dialogue and unlock bankable, investable infrastructure opportunities for the region.

At a time when Southern Africa faces rapid urbanisation, rising infrastructure demand, and increasing climate risk, the Summit is positioned as a solutions-focused platform designed to align policy, mobilise capital, and accelerate the delivery of sustainable infrastructure at scale.

“Southern Africa’s future growth depends on how quickly we can transition toward climate-resilient infrastructure and sustainable real estate,” said Lindah Mbidzo, Director: Stakeholder Relations for SAEIS “SAEIS is designed to connect policy, private capital, and innovation to turn ambition into implementation and investment into impact.”

A Platform for Policy, Capital and Project Delivery

SAEIS 2026 will address the full infrastructure and real estate value chain, focusing on practical solutions, project development, and deal-making.

Key agenda themes include:

  • Regional Policy Alignment - Private-Public Sector Participation, capital mobilisation, ESG Frameworks
  • Ministerial Panel discussions - Public-Private sector collaboration & AI driven infrastructure development
  • CEO Panel - Capital injection & Innovation at the center of project implementation
  • Finance & Investment - Financing sustainable infrastructure & the inclusion of AI for risk modeling sustainability linked finance
  • Smart Cities & Resilient Systems - integration in planning & disaster resilience
  • Sustainable Manufacturing - Leveraging AI for efficient, green construction supply chains
  • Spotlight: Youth & Women in Real Estate and Infrastructure

The Summit will feature ministerial roundtables, CEO panels, high-level plenary sessions, fireside chats, and case studies, Deal Room providing direct engagement between governments, investors, and project developers.

“The Summit is not about theory it is about enabling bankable projects, accelerating approvals, and de-risking investment,” “Our objective is to make the financial case for sustainability undeniable.” added Mbidzo

Investment, Innovation and Collaboration at the Core

A major highlight of SAEIS 2026 will be its VIP Exhibition Walkthrough, where ministers, investors, and senior executives will engage directly with solution providers showcasing cutting-edge technologies, materials, and infrastructure innovations.

The programme will also include Deal Room, offering businesses, SMEs, and innovators the opportunity to pitch real-world project proposals to investors, DFIs, and government stakeholders.

“The pitching platform gives innovators and developers a rare opportunity to present directly to the institutions that can finance and scale their projects, this is where ideas meet capital.” - Patrick Chella, Director, SAEIS
