Stewarts & Lloyds, has been serving the South African market since 1903 and for close to 120 years has been supplying only the best steel, pipe, roofing, fencing, hardware and irrigation and pumps products. Having grown and expanded to service the market nationally- and now more recently internationally by launching a store in Windhoek- the company has also taken on a responsibility to give back to the communities within which it operates.

For the second year in a row, Stewarts & Lloyds has taken on a national blanket drive – to help those in need all through the country. Every branch made a big effort to make it special, and on top of handing out the blankets, has also raised money and ordered groceries and other various necessities for the charities in need.

This year, our Kimberley branch stood out and took home the Spirit Trophy cup!

Kimberley branch donated 50 blankets and a R2500 food voucher to Jannie Roux Children’s Home. The residents were also treated to R2500 worth of soup and fat cakes to enjoy on the day. Kimberley’s donations were described as a “big blessing” to the children. Annelize Kruger, Kimberley Administrator, also nominated Du Toitspan Primary School as one of the beneficiaries for their winter drive – donating 29 school shoes and socks to the pupils.

The entire Stewarts & Lloyds group managed to help over 30 charities nationwide, including various SPCA’s, other animal shelters, children’s homes, old age homes and more!

Spreading warmth and happiness this winter.
