Water storage solutions provider and manufacturer Damsak Reservoirs has expanded into international markets, the move underscoring the company’s commitment to addressing global water scarcity and infrastructure challenges, particularly in the manufacturing, mining and engineering sectors.

Central to this expansion is the introduction of the new 500 000 ℓ Damsak, which was designed to offer reliability and resilience to ensure continuous operation, especially in regions experiencing water supply disruptions.

Damsak’s water storage bladders are engineered with a focus on reliability, durability, and ease of installation and transportation.

With a ten-year guarantee, the product boasts large-scale rollouts for large-scale applications, such as those found in agriculture and mining, says Damsak cofounder and director Gordon Bredenkamp.

“We prioritise countries based on market potential and strategic alignment with our mission to provide sustainable water management solutions,” he notes, adding that the expansion aims to not only provide scalable solutions but also to build long-lasting relationships and navigate regulatory landscapes effectively, promoting a conducive environment for growth.

He further emphasises the importance of practical design principles in its products, which are engineered to be portable, easy to install, and fit into a sports-utility vehicle when empty.

This design consideration ensures that regardless of the size, from 500 ℓ to 500 000 ℓ, the solutions are accessible and cost-effective, thereby supporting both small-scale businesses and larger enterprises.

Considering the need for reliable water storage is pressing, especially in areas with unstable water supplies, Damsak’s solutions help mitigate such risks, enabling industries to maintain productivity and sustainability.

By adapting its offerings based on market developments and client feedback, Bredenkamp says the company stays at the “cutting edge” of water storage technology, meeting the evolving needs of the global market.

“Water conservation and proper use are paramount to our operations,” says Bredenkamp, who highlights that the company’s proactive approach to product development and market expansion reflects a deep commitment to sustainability and efficiency.
