A range of custom-made hearing protection solutions tailored for high-noise environments is available for use in industry.

Noise-Ban affirms that it has fitted more than one-million custom-made devices, aimed at protecting workers' hearing in industries such as mining, manufacturing, aviation, food production and agriculture.

The devices are custom-moulded to an individual’s ear, aimed at ensuring maximum comfort and consistent protection. The adjustable attenuation filters allow users to maintain communication and situational awareness, which is key in dynamic and potentially hazardous workplaces.

The range includes:

  • Noise-Ban Elite: hearing protection with adjustable filters.
  • Noise-Ban Custom: acrylic-based, fixed-filter hearing protection for general applications.
  • Noise-Ban Soft: manufactured using medical-grade silicone, ideal for use with helmets or tight-fitting headgear.
  • Noise-Ban Detect: metal-detectable plugs for the food and beverage sector.
  • Noise-Ban Supreme: features filter technology that allows wearer to hear detail while simultaneously protecting hearing, suited for executives, consultants, and management.
  • Lifestyle Hearing Solutions: designed for swimming, sleeping, shooting, motor sport, amongst other uses.

The company also offers an annual monitoring programme to assess ongoing device effectiveness and extended warranty support.

The H.A.S.S. Group will be exhibiting at the KwaZulu-Natal Industrial Technology Exhibition, or KITE, 2025, where it will feature live Noise-Ban fitment demonstrations, explore advanced filter technology, and host discussions with experts about implementing a tailored hearing protection programme for any industry.
