Another M&R director resigns
JSE-listed Murray & Roberts has reported that Alexandra Muller has resigned from the board of directors of the group with effect from December 9.
“The board wishes to thank Ms Muller for her valuable contribution during her tenure and wishes her well with her future endeavours.”
Her resignation follows that of M&R chairperson Suresh Kana and director Jesmane Boggenpoel on November 30 and November 15 respectively.
Clifford Raphiri has been appointed interim chairperson, with effect from December 1 and until a permanent appointment is made.
M&R last month announced that its M&R Limited division and the division’s subsidiary OptiPower had been placed in business rescue amid liquidity constraints.
M&R, as well as its indirect subsidiaries Murray & Roberts Cementation, Murray & Roberts UK, Cementation APAC, Cementation Canada, and Terra Nova Technologies, continue as going concerns and will continue to deliver on their contractual obligations.
