AQS Liquid Transfer is an importer and distributor of pumps in Southern Africa.

The AQS entity started operating in 2003. In 2016, AxFlow, a division of Axel Johnson International has acquired a majority stake in AQS Liquid Transfer. The company carries several product ranges that cater for the mining, industrial, agricultural and utility markets.

AQS values the strong partnerships it has forged with its suppliers and clients alike and strives to consistently unlock value for every customer, every time by providing trusted pumping solutions within a culture of adaptability and passion.

The company has passion and enthusiasm for what it does and goes the extra mile for its clients to provide them with their ideal pumping solution and exceed their expectations. AQS does things differently within this often impersonal and generic industry.

Engineering News interviewed AxFlow AQS Liquid Transfer MD Leon Fourie at the KwaZulu-Natal Industrial Technology Exhibition (KITE) 2025 at the Durban Exhibition Centre.
