The project comprises four BESS facilities with a total storage capacity of 8 000 MWh.
The project includes:
- the Al-Muwyah BESS independent storage project (ISP), with a capacity of 500 MW/2 000 MWh, in Makkah province.
- the Haden BESS ISP, with a capacity of 500 MW/2 000 MWh, in Makkah province.
- the Al-Khushaybi BESS ISP, with a capacity of 500 MW/2 000 MWh, in Qassim province.
- the Al-Kahafa BESS ISP, with a capacity of 500 MW/2 000 MWh, in Hail province.
Each project will be developed under a build, own, operate model
