As part of its ongoing growth strategy, pipe and hose supplier Astore Keymak relocated its Cape Town branch to a more modernised premises in the Western Cape in November.

“Astore Keymak Cape Town is expanding, hence it became important to enhance and improve our customers’ experience, and the newly built premises tied into this strategy. “Our new location makes Astore Keymak more accessible for customers, with the main routes of the R300 and N1 highways on our doorstep,” says Cape Town branch manager Willem Beetge and regional manager Koot Vermaak.

The relocation was completed with minimal disruptions to business operations and customers.

Further, with the increase in demand for pipes and hoses in the agriculture sector, owing to water scarcity and the global demand for quality food supply, Astore Keymak is actively focusing on this market segment to better serve customers.

As a result, the company is expanding its product range to include more products from irrigation equipment supplier Irritec and global plastic fluid handling systems manufacturer and distributor Aliaxis Group of companies.

“As the trusted supplier of thermoplastic pipeline systems for the conveyance of fluids, Astore Keymak works closely with engineers, municipalities and water purification companies in supplying European-sourced products to better manage the water supply in industry, civil and agriculture applications,” say Beetge and Vermaak.

Moreover, as part of the Hudaco Group of companies, Astore Keymak aims to increase its footprint by working closely with Hudaco Africa and using its knowledge of the African market.

“Our principal suppliers – Agru, FIP, Astore, Aliaxis and Unidelta – are continuously upgrading their product offering. We are proud to be the sole supplier of these products in the Southern African region,” the managers conclude.
