Cordless leaf blower now available
A new backpack leaf blower is said to be the first of its kind, offering increased performance and power.
The WORX NITRO backpack blower features four 20 V 4.0 Ah power share batteries, totalling 80 V of power.
This blower is suitable for use in larger yards and small to medium-sized commercial applications. Its variable speed control and turbo function is designed to provide more control in tight spaces or large areas.
The WORX 80V NITRO backpack leaf blower WG572 produces 800 CFM of air volume, which helps to move more leaves and debris than standard battery-operated blowers and its light compact design makes it easier to maneuver.
Benefits of the WORX NITRO 80V include:
- Can be used during loadshedding as no 220 V power is required
- No extension cables make it safer and easier to operate
- No petrol required
- No engine or motor maintenance required
- Quieter than traditional high-powered blowers
WORX highlights the following additional features:

- A high-efficiency brushless motor that runs 50% longer, is 25% more powerful and has a 10% longer life when compared to other brushed motors.
- Dual air intake pulls in additional air for greater air volume output.
- Sonic turbine fan technology delivers 800 CFM of forceful, high-capacity air volume.
- Quieter noise levels of only 83 decibels.
