Kgomotso Lebele is the Country Managing Director for Accenture in South Africa, where he leads the firm’s growth agenda by advancing innovations in cloud, security, data and artificial intelligence, alongside driving talent transformation.
With more than 20 years of consulting experience, he has built a diverse career spanning the public sector, mining, utilities, consumer goods, and financial services industries. His expertise lies in guiding large-scale digital transformation programmes across multiple geographies, helping organisations embrace innovation, unlock new value, and achieve sustainable growth.
Before his current role, Lebele was the Technology Lead for Accenture in South Africa, responsible for driving the firm’s technology agenda and overseeing complex client engagements. Prior to this, he focused on end-to-end sales, technology delivery, and the management of application maintenance cycles, while also leading digital programmes within the Resources, Health and Public Service sectors. In these roles, he partnered with client CIOs and IT managers to modernise systems, establish new technology environments, and optimise existing applications.
Lebele holds BSc: Biochemistry from the University of Witwatersrand, and Masters: Information Technology from the University of Pretoria. He is also a Harvard Business School certified Disruptive Strategist and participated in the Executive Development Programme from the University of the Witwatersrand. He is also a member of the Golden Key Society.
