Festo highly modular Angle Seat Valve VZXA
This article has been supplied.
In anatomy, the valves in the heart regulate the flow direction of blood and the heartbeat. The Angle Seat Valve VZXA featured in the Festo heart of absolute Automation 2.0 campaign serves the same purpose for numerous applications in automation. Further to this, the highly modular and flow controlling valve easily adapts to the task at hand thanks to its range of variants. It maximises flexibility and minimises the effort involved in designing applications. The carefully thought-out product architecture allows valve bodies and actuators to be freely combined. This product’s concept makes it easier to modify and maintain systems without removing the entire valve (hot-swap function).
Simple installation
Different actuators and valve bodies can be combined for easy integration into applications. The unique combination enables actuators to be replaced without opening the piping. In addition, the separation of these two products makes it easier and faster to install in pipelines. As a result, the actuators can be mounted on the valve body at the end of an assembly task in areas that are hard to access.
Clean valve design
This valve has no dead spaces. As a result, it is quick and easy to clean inside as well as on the outside. The compact and sturdy stainless-steel unit can also withstand harsh ambient conditions, aggressive cleaning foams and vapour. The encapsulated modules stop the operating medium from getting into the actuator and vice versa.
Sturdy materials for optimum application results
The Angle Seat Valve VZXA comprises of an angle seat valve body, a piston or diaphragm drive and a visual position indicator. The flow-optimised valve body made of stainless steel is available in nominal sizes from DN15 – DN65. The valve’s concept allows the combination of these modules to meet different customer needs and requirements. This provides you with maximum variation flexibility and minimises the effort involved in designing applications.
