Global Communications’ Kenwood NEXEDGE NXDN digital hand portable radios offer multiple benefits
NEXEDGE® was the first system of its kind with the ability to communicate with both analogue and digital handsets, providing a cost-effective solution to customers migrating from legacy analogue systems. As well as wider coverage, it is able to deliver clear voice quality, even in the noisiest of environments.
All hand portable walkie-talkie radios in the Kenwood NEXEDGE® NXDN range of digital two-way radios share common attributes so that users can be sure that they will deliver the features and performance required.
According to Sean Mervitz, Sales Manager at Global Communications (an Elvey Group company and part of the Hudaco Group of companies), these compact and fully programmable radios are lightweight and offer multiple solutions in one radio. “Selected models can be adapted to operate in ETSI compliant dPMR Mode 1 and Mode 2 and users benefit from the multi-protocol NXDN/DMR/FM NX-5000 and NX-3000 Series.”
The NEXEDGE® range of digital hand portable walkie-talkies offer the proven benefits of increased range, improved sound quality, security, advanced lone worker safety features and automatic digital/analogue mixed mode operation.
The range includes low, mid and fully featured high-tier, GPS equipped and intrinsically safe (IS) models, with and without display and keypad, which all provide the flexibility to operate in the following modes:
