Project Description
The Hami Integrated Innovative Energy Base project is based on domestically developed, independently patented second-generation direct coal liquefaction technology.
The first phase will entail the construction of projects for clean and efficient coal utilisation and supporting new energy, with an investment of ¥90-billion to support the Chahaquan No 1 openpit mine.
Potential Job Creation
The full industrial chain operation of the project is expected to create 5 500 direct jobs and nearly 30 000 indirect jobs.
Capital Expenditure
¥170-billion.
Planned Start/End Date
The project started construction in October 2024.
The first phase of the project is scheduled for completion and operation by the end of 2027.
