Adjacent to the Umsinde Emoyeni and Khangela Emoyeni wind farms, in the Western Cape and Northern Cape provinces, South Africa.

Project Owner/s
The project is led, co-sponsored and developed by African Clean Energy Developments (AECD), with the African Infrastructure Investment Managers (AIIM) managed IDEAS Fund and Reatile as shareholders.

Project Description
The project entails the construction of a 140 MW wind farm and comprises thirty-two 4.5 MW wind turbines.

R4.9-billion.

Planned Start/End Date
Construction of the wind farm started in February 2025 and is scheduled to start generating electricity in 2026.
