From Creamer Media in Johannesburg, this is the Real Economy Report.

Sashnee Moodley:

CASE Construction Equipment, a CNH Industrial brand, launched its CX 220C LC heavy duty excavator in South Africa last month. This is the latest in the company’s range of excavators with the latest addition geared towards harsh working conditions while prioritising comfort and efficiency. Nadine Ramdass attended the launch.

Nadine Ramdass:

The launch event invited customers to witness the excavator in action as well as learn about its features and benefits. The event also gave customers an opportunity to sit in the excavator and try it out to get a full understanding of what differentiates the excavator from others in CASE Construction’s range. CASE Construction Equipment divisional MD Graham Forte tells us more.

CASE Construction Equipment divisional MD Graham Forte:

Nadine Ramdass:

The excavator is produced at CASE Construction’s plant in

Pithampur, in India, along with other equipment in the brand’s range, which are then imported to South Africa.

CASE Construction Equipment brand leader Fabrizio Cepollina:

Nadine Ramdass:

CASE Construction looked at the needs of its customers when developing the excavator to fully understand what would make the CX220C stand out from standard 220 excavators as well as ensure that customers would have a reliable, efficient excavator that can last a number of years.

The excavator has a Fiat Power Train engine which boosts performance while optimizing fuel efficiency making it a cost-efficient choice for customers. CASE Construction Equipment Network Development Head Alexander Markov explains.
