Schneider Electric is pleased to announce that they have successfully implemented a comprehensive distribution hub network, now covering all provinces in South Africa. This strategic initiative aims to significantly improve the accessibility and convenience for their customers to procure an extensive range of electrical products and solutions.

Neroshnee Marimuthu, Head of Channel Marketing; at Schneider Electric emphasised the impact of the new Distribution Hub Programme, stating, "The big advantage for professional retailers, panel builders, and system integrators is that a wider range of our products is now available in every part of the country. Given our extensive market coverage, having distribution hubs located closer to our customers is all about creating greater convenience for them, whilst enabling a better, more efficient service delivery and competitive market prices."

Purchase directly or online

Marimuthu notes that with this expansion, customers can choose to acquire Schneider Electric’s products by visiting their local distribution hub directly or conveniently placing orders via the hubs' e-commerce platform, with delivery within at least 48 hours.

Schneider Electric's distribution hubs serve as their direct partners, distributing products on a business-to-business (B2B) basis, ensuring that their customers have access to a comprehensive range of products and services tailored to their specific needs.

“We are committed to providing you with the best solutions and services, and we believe that this enhanced distribution network will further strengthen our ability to support your business and operational requirements,” says Marimuthu.

Currently, the following distribution hubs are part of Schneider Electric’s programme:

  • ControlGearhttps
  • Herholdt’s Group
  • Key Electric Wholesalers
  • Magnet
  • Switchrite
  • Technosales
