MadoquaPower2X comprises Madoqua Renewables, Power2X and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, through its Energy Transition Fund.

Project Description
The project involves the production of green hydrogen using alkaline-water electrolyser technology and green ammonia using the Haber-Bosch process.

Green ammonia will be transported by pipeline to the Port of Sines and loaded for export and/or used as maritime fuel.

Up to 500 MW of electrolysis capacity will be required to produce 1 200 t/d of green ammonia.
