The proposed operation will provide critically needed domestic production of ingot and wafer capacity to meet the increasing demand from US solar cell and panel manufacturers. 

The project includes the construction of a new 5 GW silicon ingot and solar wafer manufacturing facility.

Potential Job Creation
The project will create 320 new direct jobs.

Capital Expenditure
$620-million.

Planned Start/End Date
Construction is expected to start in late 2024, subject to approvals, the necessary permits and final incentive agreements, and come on line in 2026.
