South Africa Inc is duty-bound to be constructive on all fronts

The world hates nitrous oxide smog and rhodium can take it away. But there’s not enough rhodium to meet galloping demand and the upshot is that the rhodium price has rocketed out of sight. South Africa hosts 90% of the planet’s rhodium and mining more upper group two reef will also mean more palladium, which is also in short supply. But those who could do the right thing at the flick of a finger argue that South Africa’s current political and regulatory environment is not conducive to investment. Let’s change that. Allowing prices to spike is risky because it stimulates users to find alternatives that can knock us flat. It’s absolutely essential that South Africans learn to be constructive on all fronts for the good of the South African people. Doing so floats all boats; failing to so sinks them.
