Success all around for Engen sponsored Truck Test 2022

The highly anticipated Truck Test, whose intense route this year spanned three provinces, has been successfully completed.
As a major supplier of fuels and lubricants to the transport sector, Engen once again partnered with Focus Magazine as this year’s Truck Test Platinum sponsor to demonstrate our commitment as a proud, long-standing supporter of the initiative.
The trucking adventure kicked off on 1 June 2022 at Engen Blockhouse North in Johannesburg, heading to Harrismith in the Free State for a short rest at Engen Highway Junction Truck Stop before drivers checked in at Engen Trafford Road Truck Stop in Durban for an overnight stop.
The journey was reversed on Day Two.
Featuring a diverse line-up of 8 contenders (including Mercedes, Iveco and FAW brands), the annual Truck Test aims to find the best-in-class trucks in terms of fuel efficiency and productivity.
Truck Test presented the perfect opportunity to promote Engen Dynamic Diesel 50ppm with Pro-Drive technology and AdBlu, which was once again used by the participating trucks.
Engen, in addition to being a major supplier to the sector, is also one of the few major petroleum marketers that still operates its own fleet of trucks.
Being a buyer of trucks, Truck Test gives Engen further insight from a buyer’s perspective.
The Truck Test event was well supported by some of Engen’s valued Truck Stop customers as well our sales teams from our Commercial and Lubricants divisions.
