The United States is proud to announce its robust presence at Enlit Africa 2025, taking place from May 20–22 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre.  A delegation of eight leading U.S. companies are featuring their cutting-edge solutions at the USA Pavilion, a space for business-to-business meetings and fostering new opportunities across Africa’s energy, power, and water sectors.

U.S. Consul General in Cape Town Allison Areias joined the American companies at Enlit this morning for a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the opening the United States’ pavilion – commenting that “The United States is excited to support a delegation of American companies at Enlit Africa 2025.  These companies bring American innovation and world class technology along with a spirit of partnership necessary to meet the United States’ and Africa’s goal of energy abundance and mutual prosperity.  The U.S. presence at Enlit is part of what makes it a leading event on the continent for the energy sector. American companies and the U.S. Mission to South Africa are excited to be part of this landmark gathering to connect and seize the opportunity to be a leading part of Africa’s energy and water abundant future.” CG Areias will also open Enlit’s Day Two Plenary session with remarks at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, 21 May.

The array of U.S. companies participating in the USA Pavilion this year have a strong track record of collaboration in the region, including with the U.S. Department of Commerce’s U.S. Commercial Service to advance energy security, grid reliability, and the deployment of a broad, interoperable energy mix across sub-Saharan Africa. These efforts support increased access to reliable and affordable power while fostering resilient, integrated energy systems that meet the region’s diverse needs.  Several of these firms are returning participants to Enlit Africa, deepening their commitments to African markets. Participating U.S. Companies at the USA Pavilion this year include:

·Ashipa Electric – Birmingham, AL

·Capstone Green Energy

·CTC Global

·GameChange Solar

·Honeywell

·Nextracker

·Sujen International LLC – Rancho Palos Verdes, CA

The USA Pavilion represents a key touchpoint for business-to-business meetings, offering African stakeholders access to American innovation and excellence.

Journalists interested in visiting the USA Pavillion or attending the Consul General’s remarks opening the Day 2 Plenary Session must be registered to attend the Enlit Africa 2025 conference, but no other registration is required.
