Wealth creation must be encouraged, wealth consumption kept in check

Mining, agriculture, manufacturing and everything that uplifts local business must be encouraged by government and wealth consumption kept in proper check. The long wait for exploration and mining investment red tape to be removed should not be allowed to go on any longer and every encouragement must be given to local manufacture. There has been too much shrinking of pursuits that float all economic boats and too much leeway given to consumption that is beneficial to those who operate under a cloud. The betting industry, for example, which is growing fast, must become fully transparent. A requirement for betting companies should be that they must be listed on a special section of the stock exchange and made to report with complete openness every six months.
