Materials handling equipment manufacturer and distributor Bell Equipment expects to report earnings per share (EPS) and headline earnings per share (HEPS) of at least 420c for the financial year ending December 31.

That represents an increase of 120c a share compared with the EPS of 300c and the HEPS of 294c reported for the 2021 financial year.

Bell attributes the expected increase in earnings mainly to stronger market conditions, which have had a positive impact on its production and sales performance.
