From Creamer Media in Johannesburg, this is the Real Economy Report.

    Sashnee Moodley:

President Cyril Ramaphosa and Corobrik CEO Nick Booth officially unveiled the company’s new R800-million Kwastina brick factory, in Gauteng, earlier this month. Tasneem Bulbulia attended the launch.

    Tasneem Bulbulia:

The factory was highlighted as a technologically advanced and environment-friendly brick manufacturing plant. Booth expands.

The new factory has the capacity of 100-million bricks yearly, compared to the previous factory’s capacity of about 78-million yearly, a 25% improvement.

Booth outlines that construction timeline of the new factory.

    Corobrik CEO Nick Booth:

He also explains the rationale for this new factory.
