Epson has expanded its EcoTank range with the introduction of its L3550, L3560 and L5590 multifunction printers that can print, scan and copy – suitable for home and office use. The printers are designed to be affordable and environment-friendly.

The range offers a low-cost-per-page, high speed printing solution, that can print up to 4 500 black and 7 000 colour pages. The cartridge-free design helps prevent waste, with one set of ink bottles equating to about 79 disposable laser cartridges.

Epson’s heat free printing technology means that the EcoTank range consumes less energy to print, making it environmentally sustainable.

The printers ensure ease of connectivity with Wi-Fi Direct, which allows users to print from different devices on the same Wi-Fi network.

The L3550 unit features print speeds of up to 15 pages a minute and a 100-sheet rear paper tray.

The EcoTank L3560 model features a liquid-crystal display (LCD) screen that allows users to select print preferences, check the status of a print and monitor maintenance issues directly on the printer.

The top-end of the range is the L5590, which is a four-in-one printer with Wi-Fi Direct, ethernet and LCD screen, and also features a 30-page automatic document feeder.
