ExxonMobil Collaborates with Value Chain Partners to Showcase Innovative Solutions at K 2025

ExxonMobil will showcase its innovative polymer solutions and expertise at K 2025 in Dusseldorf, Germany, from October 8-15. ExxonMobil Signature Polymers will be featured at K for the first time, marking its debut appearance at the world’s largest plastic and rubber tradeshow. Visitors to the ExxonMobil Pavilion FG04.3 outside Hall 4 can view product samples and film rolls, meet and hear from industry experts, and interact with solutions from a variety of industries such as packaging, agriculture, consumer products, industrial, healthcare, and automotive during unique guided tours.
ExxonMobil will highlight solutions, many of which were created in collaboration with leading machine manufacturers, converters, and brand owners, including:
- Mono-material PE solutions designed for recyclability* and/or downgauging opportunities, such as MDO cereal pouches from Colines, freezer pouches from W&H, silo bags from Armando Alvarez, pet food bags from Bandera, and vacuum skin cheese packaging from Alpine.
- High-performance solutions incorporating post-consumer recycled content, including cast stretch film from Erema, block bottom valve bags from Selene, compression packaging from Optima, high tenacity stretch film from W&H, stretch hood films from Reifenhauser, high tenacity hand wrap stretch cast film from Colines, and silage covers from RaniPlast.
- Exxtend™ technology for advanced recycling. In addition to a virtual reality-based tour, samples incorporating certified- circular** polymers will include wrappers, food trays, bags, and pouches.
- Innovative solutions in rotomolding, roofing tiles, and yogurt cups.
- Furthermore, ExxonMobil will showcase its advanced range of Mobil hydraulic oils, greases, and specialty lubricants designed to meet the demanding needs of the plastics and polymer industry.
Visitors can hear insights from industry visionaries and innovation leaders:
- Peter Hinssen, a thought leader on technological evolution, innovation strategy, and adaptive leadership, will discuss “A Never Normal Future” on Monday, October 13 (17:00 CET).
- Roundtable discussion: The Future of Our Industry – Balancing Competitiveness and Circularity on Thursday, October 9 (17:00 CET) hosted by Dan Moore, Vice President, ExxonMobil Product Solutions, with panelists:
Elżbieta Bieńkowska, former European Commissioner for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs, who played a pivotal role in launching the EU’s Circular Economy Package and shaping industrial policy.
Marco Mensink, Director General of Cefic (European Chemical Industry Council), who brings deep insight into how the chemical industry is adapting to climate and circularity challenges.
In addition to samples, demonstrations, and speeches, ExxonMobil will also host daily guided discovery tours in its pavilion that educate and highlight solutions on salient topics such as:
- Designing for recyclability with ExxonMobil Signature Polymers: Smart design, right time.
- Incorporating recycled content with ExxonMobil Signature Polymers: Unlocking Value from Plastic Waste.
- ExxonMobil Signature Polymers: Partnering to pioneer innovation in packaging, agricultural films and automotive industry.
