Infobip, a global leader in cloud communications, reinforced its leadership in customer engagement innovation as a Silver Sponsor of Seamless Africa 2025, which took place on the 8-9 of September 2025 at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg. Over the two-day event, Infobip showcased how its Customer Experience Orchestration Platform (CXOP) is transforming digital commerce and banking by putting AI at the core of customer experience (CX).

Dean Baker, Regional Head at Infobip, delivered a spotlight presentation on the theme “AI at the Core: Orchestrating the Next Era of Banking CX – From Fragmentation to Flow”. In his keynote, he highlighted how businesses can move beyond fragmented digital strategies by unifying communication channels through intelligent orchestration. Baker emphasises that AI-driven orchestration enables seamless, connected journeys that not only improve operational efficiency but also build long-term customer trust and loyalty.

“Our CXOP is designed to help businesses deliver experiences that feel truly seamless, no matter where the customer journey starts or ends,” said Baker. “By combining data-driven insights with AI-powered orchestration, organisations can deepen customer relationships, increase retention, and ultimately drive stronger business outcomes.”

Baker also contributed to a panel discussion on AI and machine learning in the rise of neo-banks and the next age of customer experience, where he shared insights into how integrated communication strategies are reshaping engagement across Africa’s financial services sector.

Infobip engaged attendees with an interactive demonstration of CXOP, illustrating how the platform unifies channels including WhatsApp, Rich Communication Services (RCS), SMS, email, and in-app messaging into a single ecosystem. Visitors experienced first-hand how CXOP helps brands break down channel silos, deliver personalised and predictive interactions, and scale customer engagement strategies with automation and AI.

“Seamless Africa is the ideal platform for us to connect with the businesses shaping the future of commerce,” Baker added. “We are proud to demonstrate how Infobip can help organisations orchestrate connected, AI-powered experiences that turn every interaction into long-lasting loyalty.”

Recognised as one of Africa’s leading gatherings for payments, fintech, retail, and digital identity, Seamless Africa 2025 brought together innovators and decision-makers from across the continent. Infobip’s sponsorship and active participation emphasised its commitment to enabling omnichannel communications that meet the needs of Africa’s mobile-first consumers and support the region’s digital transformation.
