High-brightness displays for small spaces
Human machine interface (HMI) programmable graphic displays are used for controlling, parameter-setting and operation of mobile machines and installations. The units can be used in conjunction with a mobile controller or as a stand-alone solution.
The compact 4.3" ecomatDisplay HMI is designed for use in small spaces and offers clear communication, precision and performance. Available from ifm, the solution features 16-million colours, high-resolution display and good readability even at extreme angles or in extreme lighting conditions.
Numerous connection options and a range of supported communication protocols allow for simple integration of the ecomatDisplay into the machine. Codesys 3.5 and the ifm library of software modules enable visualisation of the most relevant information.
The Linux-based operating system can be used for customisation, such as visualisation by means of Qt software. The DualCore processor and the DDR4 random access memory, or RAM, help ensure reliable processing of all data and control commands. With a dual-core 1.4 GHz processor and low energy consumption of 5 W to 8 W, the 4.3" ecomatDisplay is said to offer the required communication skills.
The displays are available in different sizes. Some types have an analogue video input for connection to a mobile camera. Data and device functions are safely transferred by means of a campus area network, or CAN, interfaces.
The displays feature a range of freely programmable backlit function keys. Some are equipped with an additional navigation key, a potentiometer with pushbutton function or a touch screen.
The modules are suited for outside panel and surface mounting as well as for cabin installation in construction machines, agricultural machinery and municipal vehicles.
