Project Description
The development of a new highway transport plan for the city of Jos, in Plateau state forms part of the Greater Jos Master Plan (2008 to 2025) and will help achieve more sustainable transport movement and increase competitiveness in the city as an investment location.

A longer-term highway investment plan will also be developed to facilitate the development and growth proposed in the plan.
Value
$12-million.
Duration
Stage 1 of the project is due for completion in 2012.
Latest Developments
Matt MacDonald has been appointed by PW Nigeria as a subconsultant to carry out transportation planning for the development of the new highway transport plan.
The company will assess the future roadway needs, a strategic transport model will be developed and various improvement options will be tested.
