Kuils River local, Anke Basson is one of three lucky winners of a brand-new VW Polo Vivo valued at over R200 000.
Anke entered the ‘Festive 2021’, a competition run by Clicks ClubCard in conjunction with Engen and eBucks, over the recent Festive Season.
“I’m in shock yet feel incredibly blessed,” said an ecstatic Anke, after receiving the keys to her new set of wheels at Engen Bottelary Motors in Kuils River on 24 February 2022.
Anke, who has never owned a brand-new car in her life until now!!!, was automatically entered into the competition by simply filling up at her local Engen and swiping her Clicks ClubCard.
“I get so much back in my fuel spend when filling up at Engen and swiping my Clicks ClubCard which is money that I didn’t have, and at times have really needed, so I’m truly grateful,” she added.
Engen General Manager: Retail, Seelan Naidoo said Engen’s flourishing partnership with two of South Africa’s leading rewards programmes, FNB eBucks and Clicks ClubCard, is a testament to Engen’s passion for giving back and rewarding its loyal customers.
“As South Africa’s favourite* petrol station, we place our customers at the centre of everything we do and look to excite them with our many pioneering offers.
“To Anke, Engen extends a hearty congratulations and wishes her many years of happy motoring in her new car.”
Naidoo added that convenience and customer service remain key determinants of success in the local petroleum and convenience industry and crucial to ensure that the Engen network continues to lead the way.
“Competitions such as this, not only add excitement to our brand marketing but also allows Engen the opportunity to engage and interact with our valued customers. These periodic promotions also energise our teams to continue to work harder to deliver a superior customer service so that we consistently deliver on our enduring brand promise ‘With us you are Number One’.”
