Mohini Jingoo
Mohini is a capital sales manager at Multotec, specialising in capital equipment sales for the mineral processing industry. With a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering, she holds the distinction of being the first female engineer in her family — a personal achievement that paved the way for a fulfilling career.
Born in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, her love for mathematics, physical sciences, and chemistry naturally led her towards engineering. Early roles in metallurgy, mineral processing and technical sales helped her discover her passion for the dynamic mineral processing industry. Since joining Multotec, Jingoo has played a key role in securing and successfully delivering several international projects, working closely with internal teams and stakeholders to meet tight deadlines and exceed client expectations.
She describes her leadership style as delegative and outcomes-based, empowering her team to take ownership while providing hands-on guidance, support and mentorship. “I believe in giving my team the space to grow while always being available to offer direction when needed,” she says.
Jingoo encourages fellow women leaders to lead with authenticity, stay true to themselves and view every challenge as a chance to learn, grow and rise.
Working in a male-dominated environment has shaped her resilience, discipline and commitment to excellence. Jingoo has earned the respect of her peers and inspires those around her through hard work and integrity.
Outside the office, she enjoys quality time with her family, beach outings, yoga, nature walks and cooking. Her life philosophy is inspired by Robin Sharma: “Being of service to others is a gateway into unrestrained joy.”
Denise de Beer
Denise is the safety, health, environment and quality (SHEQ) manager at Multotec, overseeing the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the company’s SHEQ management systems across all divisions. Born in Umkomaas, KwaZulu-Natal, De Beer built her career through determination and hands-on experience. Through on-the-job training, mentorship and a passion for creating safe, people-focused work environments, she forged a meaningful career in SHEQ.
One of her proudest achievements was leading Multotec to successfully attain ISO 45001:2018 (health and safety) and ISO 14001:2015 (environmental management) certifications in 2023. When De Beer joined the company, there was no formal environmental management system in place and the existing safety framework needed strengthening. Through teamwork, leadership and open communication, she and her team built strong, sustainable systems that not only achieved certification but also fostered a culture of ongoing improvement.
Having built her career in a traditionally male-dominated industry, De Beer credits early role models, including a strong female manager at the start of her career, for shaping her leadership values. She leads with a participative, open-door approach, believing people thrive when they feel heard, supported and empowered.
De Beer's message to women leaders is: “Never stop believing in yourself. Stay authentic, own your voice and uplift other women.”
Her personal philosophy is: “Strength doesn’t come from what you can do. It comes from overcoming the things you once thought you couldn’t.”
Outside the office, De Beer is passionate about fitness, including Missfit Boxing, cherishes time with her family and enjoys cheering on her favourite rugby teams.
