Schneider Electric, the global leader in energy management and automation, and recognised sustainability leader, has announced the launch of the new DBSeT panel in the East African market. Designed for electricians, developers, and building owners, the panel delivers safe, reliable, and easy-to-install electrical distribution for residential, commercial, and light industrial buildings.
The Schneider Electric DBSeT panel is designed to handle high temperatures while maintaining consistent performance. Its smart design reduces overheating risks, helping to protect homes and businesses from electrical hazards.
For contractors and installers, the panel saves time and effort on site. Thanks to its flexible, all-in-one design, it eliminates the need for multiple enclosures – making installations faster and more cost-effective.
Furthermore, developers and end users benefit from enhanced safety features, a clean and modern appearance, with durability that will undoubtedly stand the test of time.
“The DBSeT panel is a game-changer for how energy is distributed in buildings across East Africa,” says Geraldine Sande, Channel Sales Leader at Schneider Electric East Africa. “It’s safe, reliable, easy to install, and looks good too – ideal for local homes, commercial spaces and beyond.”
Built for today and tomorrow
The DBSeT panel works seamlessly with Schneider Electric’s full range of circuit breakers – including Acti9, Easy9, and Resi9 – giving installers more flexibility with just one enclosure type. It also allows for easy conversion from IP41 to IP43, supporting a range of indoor environments.
For added convenience, each DBSeT panel includes a QR code that connects users to a digital library of resources – including videos, guides, brochures and 360-degree product views – and verifies the product’s authenticity.
Supporting sustainability
Schneider Electric continues to champion sustainability across its operations, and the DBSeT panel is no exception. From materials to manufacturing, the panel is produced with environmental responsibility in mind, supporting Schneider’s commitment to reducing its carbon footprint while helping customers do the same.
Designed with end users in mind
The panel’s flush-mounted design and smooth rounded corners give it a modern look that blends effortlessly into building interiors or exteriors, whether it’s in a living room, lobby, or factory wall. At the same time, the plated earth and neutral bars help prevent rust and ensure long-term performance.
It also supports top or bottom cable entry, making it adaptable to the unique wiring needs of different buildings and countries.
