Established in 2004, AID Renewables provides expert training, services, and equipment for wind turbines, including work-at-height courses and personal protective equipment.

In 2016 AID Renewables became the first fully accredited Global Wind Organisation (GWO) training company in Africa, and in 2022 the first South African GWO training company to be awarded ISO 9001:2015 accreditation.

AID Renewables is 100% South African owned and run, with its high-tech training centre based in Milnerton, Cape Town where its technically experienced trainers deliver a variety of engaging, fully accredited courses. MD Mark Campbell is a certified ISO 9001 lead auditor and conducts independent audits for Industrial Rope Access Trade Association International members across the globe.
