Fidelity Services Group is proud to announce that as part of its national roll out, Fidelity SecureFire, South Africa’s leading subscription-based private fire response network, is now live in George in the Western Cape as of 1 March 2026.

What began as a bold initiative in Gauteng in 2023 has rapidly evolved into a countrywide fire protection model, delivering fast, coordinated, and intelligent support to both households and businesses across South Africa.

“We’re not here to replace existing services—we’re here to strengthen them,” says Wahl Bartmann, Group CEO of Fidelity Services Group.

“Our tiered response model was built to scale with need. It allows us to respond efficiently and effectively, while also augmenting the efforts of local council. We do not replace the role of public fire services—we support when required or requested. By being first on scene with trained responders and real-time information, we stabilise incidents early, secure environments, and create a safer, more coordinated response platform for all parties.”

At the core of the rollout is Fidelity SecureFire’s unique three-tiered response system:

First Responders: Fidelity ADT armed response officers—deployed via over 600 vehicles nationwide—are equipped to extinguish incipient fires, assist with evacuation, secure the scene, and provide real-time intelligence within minutes

Second Responders: Rapid Intervention Vehicles (RIVs) capable of suppressing small to medium-sized fires

Third Responders: Full-scale fire engines and specialised units for high-risk or large-scale emergencies.

With over 2000 successful incident responses already completed and R400 billion in assets under protection, Fidelity SecureFire has proven its operational value—and now brings that same capability to every province in the country.

National rollout timeline

Now active in:

Pietermaritzburg, Vaaldriehoek, Heidelberg, Cape Town, Gauteng, Durban, East London, Gqeberha, Bloemfontein, Stellenbosch, Paarl, Worcester, Hermanus, Richards Bay, Polokwane, Nelspruit and Rustenburg.

“Go where the risk is real. Deliver reliable fire protection to every contracted customer. And stand ready to support communities whenever lives or property are in danger,” adds Bartmann.

Every Fidelity SecureFire deployment is backed by the Fidelity Fire National Command Centre, a 24/7 operations hub using real-time data, GIS mapping, and fleet analytics to ensure optimal coordination and resource deployment.

In addition to emergency fire response, Fidelity SecureFire also offers:

  • Fire prevention solutions
  • Fire maintenance and Installation contracts
  • Compliance inspections and digital reporting

To activate the service, contracted customers can call 086 007 0700.

Fidelity SecureFire is available via a monthly subscription, starting from less than R2 per day—making professional fire protection accessible, affordable, and reliable.
