Astron Energy is showcasing its latest fuel solutions and lubricant technologies at Nampo 2025, in Bothaville, underlining its commitment to helping South African agriculture thrive amid mounting economic and environmental pressures.

Engineering News spoke with Astron Energy GM for commercial and industrial Axola Myendeki about how the company is supporting the sector’s evolution.

Astron Energy plays a pivotal role in connecting South African producers to global innovations in energy while adapting them to local farming conditions. Through its high-performance fuels and lubricants, the company aims to improve equipment efficiency, reduce downtime, and drive cost savings, which are vital in an industry facing rising input costs and climate uncertainty.

The company’s product range supports more sustainable farming by helping producers get the most out of their machinery and fuel, even in remote or challenging conditions.

Nampo serves as a vital engagement platform but does more than showcase products, the Free State event allows Astron Energy to listen, collaborate and build long-term partnerships with the farming community.
