Boston Consulting Group (BCG) today announced the appointment of Mandisa Mazibuko as Managing Director and Partner (MDP) for South Africa. Her appointment reinforces BCG’s sustained commitment to strengthening its leadership presence on the continent and expanding the firm’s impact across Africa’s most critical growth markets.
Mandisa Mazibuko brings almost two decades of experience in strategy advisory, transformation leadership, and marketing & sales excellence across African markets gained by working extensively with clients in consumer industries, banking, and telecom.
“Mandisa’s appointment strengthens our leadership team at a crucial time for both South Africa and the continent,” says Lucas Chaumontet, Managing Director and Senior Partner, Head of BCG South Africa. “We continue to invest in Africa because we believe deeply in its potential. Our South African office has become a hub of expertise for the continent and beyond, and leaders like Mandisa help ensure we are building the capabilities needed locally to support our clients.”
Mandisa Mazibuko says she is energised by the opportunity to help shape the next chapter of BCG’s growth in Africa. “BCG’s commitment to Africa is long-standing and genuine,” she says. “The firm’s focus on people, innovation, and high-impact delivery aligns closely with my own values. I am excited to help accelerate the positive change already underway in South Africa and to support clients as they navigate complex transformation journeys in a rapidly evolving environment.”
