A consortium comprising France's TotalEnergies and Saudi developer Aljomaih Energy & Water (AEW).

Project Description
TotalEnergies and AEW were awarded a tender by the Saudi Power Procurement Company (SPPC) in October 2025 to develop, build and operate a 400 MW solar power plant.

The project is part of Round 6 of the National Renewable Energy Programme. It is overseen by the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Energy and aims to reduce reliance on liquid fuels in electricity generation, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.

The plant will power more than 68 400 homes. 

The electricity produced will be sold to SPPC through a 25-year power purchase agreement.
