Power tools company Hitachi announced the launch of its 254 mm portable jobsite table saw C10RJ model.

It features a 15 A motor with soft start and electric break that produces 4 500 rpm to rip through tough hardwoods. With its large table size and extended rip capacity, the saw offers a solid tool for the jobsite.

Equipped with a durable fold and roll stand, the C10RJ can maneuver through tough terrain and set up with ease.

The C10RJ table saw’s direct drive universal 15 A motor with a soft start function reduces noise and recoil at startup. It also features an electric brake that halts the rotation of the blade within seconds for added safety. It offers a working table size that measures 730 mm × 559 mm with an out-feed support of 730 mm × 50 mm for additional material support.

Telescoping Table

With its telescoping table extension set up on the right, it can support a maximum of 890 mm rip capacity and 558 mm when set on the left for flexibility.

The 254 mm blade can bevel between 0º to 45º for cuts ranging from 79 mm (at 0º) to 57 mm (at 45º). Both the bevel scale and bevel height adjustment knobs for the blade are situated on the front of the cabinet for easy access and viewing.

The model is also equipped with a 19 mm T-slot miter gauge that features a large scale with adjustable positive stops at 0º, 15º, 30º, 45º and 60º to the left and right to help guide material accurately for a truer cut. The C10RJ can take a dado stack up to 203 mm × 20 mm for simple dado cuts.

Sturdy Legs

The stand is designed with sturdy legs that fold for easy setup and breakdown, providing stability while in use. It also incorporates large 203 mm rubber all-terrain treaded wheels that ensure the user can maneuver to or from and around a jobsite with ease and convenience.

The table saw features overload protection that automatically shuts off the motor in a possible current overload situation to help prevent damage to the saw.

A riving knife is installed to ensure the cut material does not bind and/or kick back during operation.
On board storage for the push stick, blade guard, anti-kickback pawls, power cord and other accessories adds convenience, while the oversized power switch with emergency-off safety cover is designed at knee level for immediate shut down as an added safety feature.

Additionally, a dust port situated at the rear of the cabinet measures 63 mm, and can be connected to a shop vacuum cleaner or dust collection system for a cleaner work environment.

Weighing 43.5 kg, the C10RJ’s solid construction can be relied upon to last, and with Hitachi’s professional two-year warranty, it is a safe bet for the long term.

The Hitachi C10RJ model is an ideal choice for any jobsite to make cross cuts, rip lumber, and cut dadoes.

It comes complete with a 254 mm 40-tooth carbide tipped blade, blade guard assembly, anti-kickback pawl assembly, miter gauge assembly, push stick, rip fence assembly, out-feed support assembly, two blade wrenches and 5 mm, 4 mm and 2.5 mm hex bar wrenches.
