Dart targets gold/antimony potential near Triumph project

ASX-listed Dart Mining has applied for a new exploration permit adjacent to its recently acquired Triumph gold project in central Queensland.

The application is driven by the promising gold and antimony potential in the area, owing to favourable geology and its proximity to historic mining sites.

The Ubobo Creek antimony mine is within the southern part of the Triumph gold project, while the New England Orogen hosts the Hillgrove gold/antimony mine and other historic gold/antimony mines near Gympie.

“We have moved quickly to peg additional prospective ground adjacent to our advanced Triumph gold project. We are excited by the intrusion-related gold and vein-hosted gold/antimony prospectivity of the ground and the almost total lack of modern exploration,” said chairperson James Chirnside.
