Engen Xtreme Fuels the Thrill at the 2025 Killarney Motor Show

The roar of engines and the smell of burning rubber set the scene as the Western Cape’s biggest automotive showcase, the Killarney Motor Show, took place on Sunday, 2 November. As the official main sponsor of the 2025 event, Engen Xtreme proudly stood alongside thousands of motoring enthusiasts to celebrate performance, innovation, and South Africa’s vibrant car culture.
From drift rides and kart racing to dazzling displays of exotic cars, classics, motorcycles, and motorsport machines, the Killarney Motor Show delivered an action-packed day for petrolheads and families alike. More than 12 000 visitors were treated to non-stop entertainment and the opportunity to experience the heart and soul of motoring in the Western Cape.
At the centre of the excitement was the Engen Xtreme activation space, where South African motorists engaged directly with the brand, explored the premium lubricant range, and learnt more about how Engen Xtreme delivers superior engine protection in the country’s toughest driving conditions.
“Engen Xtreme delivers premium protection in a proudly South African product,” says Melissa Graham-Tsaperas, B2C Sales Marketing Manager of Lubricants at Engen. “Our sponsorship of the Killarney Motor Show reflects our passion for motorsport and performance. Just as engines on the racetrack demand reliability and endurance, Engen Xtreme is engineered to give everyday motorists the same superior protection and peace of mind on the road.”
The sponsorship of the Killarney Motor Show is a natural fit for a lubricant brand that promises durability, reliability, and cutting-edge protection.
Graham-Tsaperas adds: “This isn’t a once-off engagement for Engen - we’re investing in this space for the long run. Motorsport and motoring events like Killarney give us a powerful platform to connect with enthusiasts, mechanics, and everyday drivers who share our passion for performance. It’s about building a community that understands and values what’s under the bonnet, and Engen Xtreme will continue to be part of that journey.”
As part of its sponsorship, Engen Xtreme’s branding featured across promotional materials, social media, and on-site at Killarney International Raceway, reinforcing the brand’s strong presence in the automotive community.
Visitors also had the chance to interact with product experts, discover the latest in lubricant technology, and take-home valuable car care insights.
“Motorsport is the ultimate test of endurance, power, and precision,” adds Graham-Tsaperas. “By supporting the Killarney Motor Show, we celebrate that spirit while reminding everyday motorists that the same passion for performance is built into every bottle of Engen Xtreme.”
The Killarney Motor Show once again proved why it’s a highlight on the South African motoring calendar. Engen Xtreme is proud to have been at the heart of the action, fuelling the passion of petrolheads and everyday drivers alike.
