Facilities Management Expo 2026 will return to Gallagher Convention Centre from 2 to 4 June, once again forming part of South Africa’s leading co-located industry events. Running alongside Securex South Africa, A-OSH EXPO, Firexpo, and for the first time, RE+ South Africa, the expo offers exhibitors a valuable opportunity to connect with decision-makers who are driving infrastructure performance, sustainability goals, and organisational compliance.

The role of facilities teams is changing quickly. FM teams are no longer focused only on maintenance or space planning. They now play a central role in improving operational efficiency, reducing environmental impact, ensuring occupant wellbeing, and supporting corporate governance. As ESG becomes a board-level priority across South Africa, organisations are increasingly seeking suppliers who can help them meet environmental, social, and governance commitments. This shift is creating a strong demand for solutions that improve energy efficiency, water conservation, indoor air quality, waste reduction, and building resilience.

“Facilities Management Expo 2026 will bring these requirements into sharp focus. Exhibitors can showcase smart building technologies, IoT sensors, predictive maintenance tools, automation platforms, and sustainability-aligned services to buyers who are actively planning upgrades or long-term investments. With Africa emerging as one of the fastest-growing markets for digitalisation and ESG-aligned procurement, the expo provides direct access to a sector undergoing major transformation,” says Mark Anderson, Portfolio Director at Montgomery Group Africa.

Alongside the product showcase, visitors will benefit from the free-to-attend Facilities Management Seminar Theatre. Sessions will explore strategic themes including energy management, digital monitoring, climate resilience, analytics-driven maintenance, compliance frameworks, and the integration of building systems across security, fire protection, and workplace safety. These insights will help both FM leaders and facilities teams navigate new expectations around regulatory compliance, efficiency, and sustainability.

The co-location with Securex, A-OSH EXPO, Firexpo, and RE+ South Africa also strengthens the visitor experience. Attendees can explore how security technology, OHS solutions, fire detection, energy management, and facilities operations are converging into unified building ecosystems. This integrated approach is shaping the future of commercial, industrial, public sector, and retail facilities. For exhibitors, the shared audience brings high-value traffic from multiple disciplines, increasing the potential for cross-sector business opportunities.

FM leaders attending the expo will gain practical insights into how digitalisation is improving building intelligence and enabling more efficient resource use. Predictive analytics and real-time data are becoming essential tools for FM teams who must manage risk, maintain compliance, and support ESG performance. These trends will feature strongly on the 2026 show floor as organisations explore new ways to reduce carbon footprints, enhance indoor environments, and streamline facility operations.

“Facilities Management Expo 2026 will once again serve as a trusted platform where suppliers, service providers, and built-environment professionals meet, collaborate, and chart a more sustainable direction for their facilities. Exhibitors can look forward to a high-quality audience that values innovation, operational impact, and long-term partnership. Save the date and prepare to join the community shaping the next chapter of facilities excellence.
