Gaming and betting company IZI Africa has completed the acquisition of cash management company G4S Cash Solutions South Africa, following the receipt of all necessary regulatory approvals.

The acquisition brings together two well-established operators with solid expertise in secure cash logistics, cash centre operations and financial technology integration.

The combined scale, infrastructure and talent pool will enable the IZI Group to offer a broader range of secure, cost-effective and future-forward cash solutions with an expanded footprint across South Africa, the company states.

The transaction marks a consolidation in the South African cash handling industry, the IZI Group says.

“We are committed to building sustainable, inclusive value for all stakeholders, which are our customers, employees and the broader economy. This transaction strengthens our ability to deliver trusted cash management services and to support the critical role that cash continues to play in South Africa’s payment ecosystem,” says IZI Group CEO Albert Erasmus.

Additionally, the transition has been structured to ensure continuity for all customers, staff and suppliers. Operations across all regions remain uninterrupted, with a strong emphasis on stability and long-term growth.

Further, the IZI Group says it remains committed to job preservation, skills development and inclusive growth. These values are central to its identity as a South African-owned group with national reach and global ambition, Erasmus comments.
