Mercedes-Benz South Africa (MBSA) has announced that Mark Raine will step down from his role as co-CEO and Mercedes-Benz Cars executive director on August 31.

Raine will be taking up the responsibility for direct sales, omni-channel commerce and data management at the luxury car maker in Stuttgart, Germany.

Claudius Steinhoff is set to take over from Raine. He is currently the president and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Singapore.

Steinhoff started his career with Mercedes-Benz in 2008.

“I am honoured to join the talented team at MBSA and eager to partner with our team and retail partners to deliver remarkable Mercedes Moments for our customers.”

Andreas Brand remains as the other co-CEO of MBSA. He is also the executive director for manufacturing.
