New electric pneumatic control valve introduced to market
TESTED AND APPROVED The Type 2200 is field-tested for reliability and proven performance, while simultaneously providing energy savings
Custom solutions provider Bellofram Precision Controls’ new Type 2200 electric-pneumatic control valve is a tailored solution that is customisable to fit unique operational needs of specific applications.
The Type 2200 is field-tested for reliability and proven performance, while simultaneously providing energy savings, the company says.
Ideal for many areas of industrial automation, including production, assembly, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and packaging systems, the Type 2200 series direct-operated poppet valves are compact in size and provide large flow capacity and low power consumption.
The T2200 series direct operated poppet valves are compact and designed for energy efficient performance with large flow capacity and low power consumption. These valves are versatile, featuring a single, multi-ported structure that allows for both two-way and three-way operations.
They can be configured for standard or continuous operation, and are suitable for standalone use or manifold mounting, which facilitates easy programmable logic controllers in robotic and automated systems.
Connection options include flying leads or terminals from German Institute for Standardisation, or Deutsche Institut für Normung - DIN.
Common applications for these valves include controlling clutches and brakes, paper handling, cylinder operations, and managing robotic and other automation systems, the company says.
Bellofram Precision Controls offers accuracy and maximum stability under the world’s most adverse operating conditions, the company says, noting that the company is able to assist when prevailing conditions are upset by disturbances such as changes in supply pressure, flow and ambient temperature.
The Type 2200 electric-pneumatic control valve is “efficiency redefined” as “its small size belies a big impact”, with powerful flow capacity for peak performance and low power consumption saving costs.
The operational innovation underpinning its design ensures that it easily integrates into existing systems.
