Electromechanical engineering company Ramohlale Industries in October launched its new offices and factory facility at the N1 Industrial Park in Polokwane, Limpopo.

Shortly after establishment in 2019 as a pump refurbishment and maintenance company, Ramohlale Industries recognised the need and market opportunity for electric motor rewinding services in the region, which has seen it quickly outgrow its preceding facility in the province.

Diversified mining and renewable energy solutions company Exxaro Resources and its wholly-owned subsidiary Cennergi in November unveiled the Lephalale solar project, with the sodturning serving as a ceremonial opening of the project. Tasneem Bulbulia expands.
Tasneem Bulbulia:
The project is a utility-scale behind-the-meter solar photovoltaic plant. Located in Limpopo, it will supply power directly to Exxaro’s Grootegeluk coal mine under a 25-year agreement.
