AxFlow AQS Liquid Transfer MD Leon Fourie speaks to Engineering News at Propak Africa 2025 in Johannesburg about how the company is helping companies in the packaging, processing, printing, labelling and recycling industries to prepare for the future.
Pumps importer and distributor AxFlow AQS Liquid Transfer is focused on supplying the Southern African market with ideal pumping solutions that exceed expectations.
The company carries several product ranges that cater to mining, industrial, agriculture and utility applications, boasting offices in Gauteng, Limpopo, the Western Cape, the Northern Cape, North-West, KwaZulu-Natal and Zambia.
AxFlow AQS Liquid Transfer is part of the AxFlow Group, which is the largest distributor of positive displacement pumps and related products and services in Europe. Established in 2003, the Pretoria-headquartered company sold a majority stake to Axel Johnson International in 2016 and today has a product portfolio that comprises 28 pump types.
In addition, the company, which is ISO 9001:2025-certified, offers in-house repair, basic testing facilities at all its ten branches, turnkey project management and a test facility in Pretoria. All utility and submersible pumps up to 75 kW can be tested, with the facility equipped with a generator to ensure a constant, stable power supply.
AxFlow AQS Liquid Transfer uses TAS test bed software to generate performance, power and efficiency curves which are compared with the original-equipment manufacturer curve in test reports.
The company’s customer support entails training, system design, client consultations on specific industry applications, sound pump selection and advice, and on-site trouble shooting and repair.
AxFlow AQS Liquid Transfer values strong partnerships with suppliers and customers, striving to consistently unlock value by providing pumping solutions in a culture of adaptability and passion.
