Integrated workplace safety solutions provider BBF Safety Group has introduced its new fall protection components at A-OSH Expo 2025.

BBF Safety Group technical specialist Ruaan Breedt spoke to Engineering News about this new offering on show at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand.

BBF offers a full portfolio of head-to-toe personal protective equipment and professional Occupational Health and Safety services that include training and consulting. Notably, the company manufactures more than 4.5-million pairs of safety footwear and gumboots a year and exports to more than 40 countries.

A proudly South African business, BBF directly employs more than 1 200 people at its four ISO:9001-accredited manufacturing facilities across the country.

While the company is focused on manufacturing and sourcing locally as far as possible, its mission is to keep people safe at work while simultaneously supporting South Africa’s ongoing socioeconomic development and transformation.
