BEACON’S ANNIVERSARY: The uMhlanga Rocks Lighthouse celebrated it 70th anniversary last month, having been first lit on the night of November 25, 1954. Situated on the uMhlanga Promenade, the 21-m cylindrical concrete tower is painted white, with a red top and red lantern house.
