Based in Secunda, Mpumalanga, HydraArc offers a range of proudly South African storage tank solutions.

HydraArc’s storage tanks are locally fabricated at its ultramodern Sky-Hill facility which has 75 000 m2 under roof, and workshop space across four bays. Sky-Hill is recognised as the most advanced and well-equipped workshop in South Africa and one of the best globally, with customisable bay shop floors designed to accommodate custom projects and production lines.

The HydraArc facility is equipped with state-of-the-art welding equipment and can accommodate the widest range of materials and thicknesses, housing a fully- equipped machine shop for in-house turning, drilling, boring and milling. The Sky-Hill shop is designed to be environmentally friendly, is NOSA 5 star rated and has ISO 9001 and ISO 3834 accreditations.

Locally developed corrosion-resistant ferritic stainless steel is used for the shells of Hydra Arc water tanks, while tank structures and attachments are manufactured using S355 JR carbon steel. The use of high-quality materials and fabrication techniques helps to reduce costs, minimise maintenance and increase longevity of water solutions, especially in remote areas.

Hydra Arc water solutions include:

  • Water tanks
  • Solar pumping systems
  • Site assembly, installation and commissioning works

Hydra Arc also supplies storage tanks with a conical bottom design, allowing the tanks to be used for either water or grain storage. The addition or removal of sections and attachments allows modifications according to required storage capacity and applications, and facilitates transport to rural areas.

Hydra Arc solar pump systems and borehole integration are key to ensuring water service delivery to rural areas.

Hydra Arc is passionate about developing the local economy and communities and employs local labour for all its assembly and installation,  adding value and upliftment to areas surrounding its site projects.
